Finance & Control

The Financial Controller collaborates with the financial administrators and assistant controllers to process all expenses and revenue and close them monthly, quarterly and yearly. In the accounting & reporting team, specialists work in the areas of IFRS, tax and regulatory reporting to ensure that our results are reported correctly to external stakeholders such as supervisors and tax authorities. Due to the changes in legislation and regulations we are constantly facing new challenges. A great place to learn for anyone who wants to work in the financial sector.

Treasury

The Treasury team is responsible for the capital and liquidity management within BinckBank and its investment portfolio. The Cash Manager works with the ALM Risk Manager on the daily management of BinckBank's liquidity and exposures. The Balance Sheet Manager is responsible for BinckBank's mortgage portfolio.

Investment

One of our products is 'investing', ie asset management. This can be done with a small inlay (Binck Forward) and with a larger insert (Binck comfort). A small team of quantitative econometrists deals with investment strategies and investment opportunities. Of course, the development of new products and strategies is the focus of the customer; In addition to own customer focus, this also requires good communication with other departments, such as marketing, user experience and ICT.

As a Balance Sheet Manager, I aim to optimize the interest margin between our customer money and our own investments. I am particularly responsible for the mortgage portfolio and the Asset & Liability Management (ALM) of BinckBank.
