Being a Technical Lead at Binck means you are a senior software developer who provides solutions to technical issues, and responsible for meeting development schedules while ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.

A Technical Lead brings a unique blend of leadership and management skills applied in a technical context within a team of developers. Together with software architects the Technical Lead steers a team towards a common technical vision.

At Binck, Software development builds and maintains scalable high-performance web applications used by hundreds of thousands of investors. For this, architectural principles are translated into functional design that serves as the base for developing software in Agile way.


As a technical lead you will:

Deliver mobile apps to hundreds of thousands of end-users on time and with due quality;
Ensure implementation of Binck design language in apps;
Solve complex technical challenges and find solutions;
Inspire, challenge and facilitate agile development team with assistance of product owners and architects;
Track performance and agility of team; promote excellent performance, identify and improve underperformance;
Maintain high team morale;
Adhere to Binck Agile standards and guidelines;
Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality;
Pay high attention to detail in work;
Be flexible in working under changing work settings;
Continuously improve and contribute to the company knowledgebase.

Knowledge and experience

Apart from having a great and fun personality and being interested in the investment branche, we also are looking for a technical lead with:

5+ years of experience as mobile software developer, or technical lead
Affinity with investment services and electronic trading domain is a plus;
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and process tools;
Knowledge and experience with OO and/or functional programming languages;
Hands-on experience with Swift, Kotlin or Java (Android API) as well as REST APIs;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Adoptability and flexibility;
Sound time management skills and ability to work on multiple assignments;
Ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions;
Enthusiastic personality.
