The Mobile & IoT team is responsible for designing, improving and maintaining the mobile and IoT platforms that Binck is currently active in and/or wants to expand to in the near future. Current development is done natively for IOS and Android (SWIFT and KOTLIN programming languages) on phone and tablet, API development in C#, wearables and smart speaker development. 

We're a big, multi country, team of Business representatives, API developers, IOS developers, Android developers, a Tester, Product Owner, UX/UI designer and a Functional designer. For us customer centricity is key!  And to improve this customer centric approach we use quantitative and qualitative data to enhance our platforms. All we are missing is someone that has a technical vision and know-how on the platforms and who can help launch the team into that next stage of maturity and efficiency.

@Binckbank a Technical(Tech) Lead is a senior developer, someone that helps overcome technical challenges and can give the developers technical guidance and vision in the future of the platforms. In practice you will do some development yourself but the majority of the work is guiding and helping with technical requirements, bringing a higher level of code quality and working closely together with the back end teams and software architects on new development. All through an agile/scrum way of working.

As a tech lead you need to bring a strong combination of leadership, technical knowledge and collaborative attitude. Do you have what it takes or are you convinced that you have the potential to grow to this level in a relatively short period of time?

Responsibilities

  • Delivering high quality software on the mobile and IoT channels.
  • Find and collaborate on technical solutions.
  • Inspire and challenge the team.
  • Create a technical vision for the mobile & IoT platforms.
  • Monitor and guide team on code quality improvements.
  • Constant improvement of the customer qualitative and quantitively feedback loop
  • Bring experience and guidance to our Mobile API development.


Knowlegde and Experience

  • Be a team player!
  • 5 years or more experience in a technical leadership or tech management role.
  • Knowledge and experience with C# (ASP.net) software development
  • Knowledge and experience with functional programming.
  • Be able to take quick action and take responsibility around technical issues.
  • Time management skills, know your priorities and how to plan these accordingly.
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with building microservices is a plus.
  • Experience in working with near shored team is a plus
