BinckBank, part of Saxo Bank, is looking for a DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT MANAGER

One could think that's a social media specialist. No, not (just) that.

You will support our digital engagement team. Participating in strengthening our position among retail investors by taking the lead on the localization of global client engagement campaigns and on the creation of local market specific campaigns. WHAT do we mean by "digital engagement"? Interacting with customers, mainly digitally.

HOW? By facilitating the development and distribution of customized content utilizing customer's data and various touchpoints

WHY? To inform, inspire and educate our customers in order to boost customer delight and loyalty, directly influence the rate of customer retention and indirectly impact the return of the customers investment portfolio and profits of Saxo Bank.

Responsibilities in the role

Localization, analysis and ongoing improvement of global client engagement campaigns
    • Coordinate with the global functional lead with the roll-out of global client engagement campaigns
    • These campaigns are through the full client lifecycle - from new client to client attrition win-back campaigns
    • Ensure that local compliance and cultural considerations are included
    • Creation and analysis of global campaign metrics
    • Recommendations and implementation of improvements based on performance analysis

Creation and implementation of local engagement campaigns

    • Working with local commercial team to define and launch local market specific campaigns
    • Creation and analysis of local campaign metrics
    • Recommendations and implementation of improvements based on performance analysis

Localization, analysis and optimization of Platform components

    • Ensuring our various trading platforms are highly relevant and tailored to the local markets
    • Helping define and source relevant 3rd party content to improve our client experience
    • Creation and analysis of platform engagement metrics
    • Recommendations and implementation of platform component improvements based on performance analysis

The ideal Digital Engagement Manager has the following

Knowledge & skills

  • A degree in journalism, communications or marketing shows that you have mastered the basics, but maybe you are just a natural talent
  • Copywriting skills are not required, but preferably you have a smooth pen and at least the eyes of an editor-in-chief
  • You have at least a few years of experience in (online) content marketing
  • Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
  • Not a must, but a nice-to-have: you have affinity with financial services
  • You can work autonomously (under pressure) and you function well in a team

  • A confident and experienced communicator
  • Result oriented, involved and flexible
  • Customer focused
  • Well-organized and like to work within a structured process
  • Proactive and like to take the lead on projects
  • Generally interested in trading and investing
